On November 16th, 2015, the Plastic Soup Foundation organised her first Charity Dinner at the Zuidpool restaurant in Amsterdam. Since then, the Plastic Soup Charity Dinner is a yearly event.
The goal of the evening is, besides raising money for the Foundation, to tell our guests about the plastic soup and the Plastic Soup Foundation. What did we achieve in the past few years with campaigns like Beat the Microbead, which is now supported by 91 NGOs (Non Governmental Organizations) in 38 countries? What are our plans for the near future?
The proceeds of this evening will be fully used to continue carrying out our mission: fight the plastic soup at the source to prevent new plastic waste from reaching our waters in the future.
The Plastic Soup Foundation hosted its second Charity Dinner on Monday November 21st. This time it was at the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam. The benefit evening was a great success with wonderful artists and generous guests who donated an incredible €57,550!
