The Beat the Microbead campaign is now supported by 69 NGO’s in 33 different countries. The international campaign is calling to ban the use of tiny plastic beads in cosmetics and other personal care products because they are harmful for the environment.
Since the start in the summer of 2012, the campaign as well as the accompanying app has raised awareness. A growing number of people stand up against microbeads. You can check out the list of partners here.
