The Supervisory Board of the Plastic Soup Foundation will change its composition this summer.
Jacco Maan has worked as a financial and economic expert in various positions at various ministries, large municipalities and as a consultant in the business sector. In Curacao, he worked for several years as a policy officer at the Permanent Dutch Representation. Since then, the plastic soup has been on his mind. In his current position as director/CFO of housing corporation Vidomes, sustainability is a daily theme. Maan: ‘Change, renewal and innovation give me a lot of energy, and are necessary for these kinds of important challenges’. He hopes to use his experience and knowledge for the Plastic Soup Foundation in the near future.
Maan follows Dieter Croese who died unexpectedly in May.
Patrick Klink is the second new face in the Supervisory Board. He is founder and director of next-gen consultancy ONBRDNG, which advises companies and organizations on digital transformation and also provides training on this subject. Klink has previously held management positions at Ilse Media and RTL Nederland. Klink: The success of the Plastic Soup Foundation depends largely on its digital environment. With my background and expertise, I hope to be able to contribute to that success and thus to the fight against the Plastic Soup’.
Klink succeeds Peter Keijzer of market research agency Lubbers De Jong and Partners BV. Keijzer has been involved in the Plastic Soup Foundation from the very beginning and has served on the Supervisory Board for two terms.
We thank Peter for his years of commitment and welcome Jacco and Patrick.
